crank pulley/harmonic damper problems

I have a 2003 MINI. I had my first crank pulley/harmonic damper replaced at 106,000 miles. Then again at 109,000. Then a third time at 116,500. Anyone else had problems with the crank pulley/harmonic damper ?

That's awful fast

for three to be replaced. What failed on the last two? They ought to give you new ones if they're lasting less than 10k. You got over 100k on the first, 3k for the second and 7.5k for the third. That's criminal.

The one Jan sells is about stock weight, I think... But really, taking weight out here isn't really a big winner. It's a better design than stock though...

I know its not about removing weight here, its about making a product that doesn't fail. I was just wondering out of curiosity if it weighed the same as the first crank pulleys that came out or the later 05-06 ones.
