New to the Classic Mini Scene
New to the Classic Mini Scene
Hey all,
I just saw this site and was impressed. I was in the market to buy a mini and did so. I am stationed over sea's in Germany and I finally found that special mini that I just had to buy...1984 Mini Mayfair MKII. All the original stuff is probably not on it, but I don't care. It was the right price at the right time.
I'm not mechanically inclined, but I learn fast and as far as I know, these mini's need a lot of attention. There are only two spots that I have found so far that have rust and I know that is the most important thing to stay on top of. The engine is pretty decent...only 70,000 Kilometers on it, and it drives nice.
All in all...It puts a smile on my face and everyone who sees it.

The classic Mini is a real joy to own a drive. i have had one for more than 35+ years and still have a blast in them. Almost have my Clubman on the road today after hours more of work! More information can be found here:
