This is my first post..... My 2009 MCS probably will arrive around end of June or early next month and dealer will install Barracuda leather seat which included in my deal.

I initially was going to order my car with punched hole leather seat but I saw one of the cooper in the showroom with Barracuda seat installed, very good looking with square perforation given the car a luxury look. So I paid $2100 for it, $600 more than puched hole factory seat.

Now... I found out it will not be covered by Mini's warranty, instead, the small company that do the installation will cover defective things. The dealer said the coverage will be as same as Mini. Really ? kind of worry...!!!

I could not find much info in internet re Barracuda for Mini. Does anyone has experience on these seat ? Good fit ? Are they relieable ? What happen to the seat's air bag if the person didn't install the seat properly ? My car is already on the ship cruising to us now. I can't switch back to manufactory leather seat at this stage. Any input ?
