Anybody else in Week 19 (2009)?
Wow! I'm impressed that you haven't resorted to making up excuses to drive yours. Maybe it's time for a nice long drive? Where did y'all go? I'm closing in on 23k and still smiling every time!
19000. The service light says May, but I will be over 20000 by then. I think they will make me wait, however.
Cold weather hurts the fuel mileage. I think it is because the computer keeps the mixture rich for longer.

Hi all, responding for my wife you all know as "Mrs. Jiminni". Well she has 21.5k on hers but she just got a new company car so she is giving it a rest
Think she drove it under a 100 miles last month
I drove it the last couple of days, man those heated seats are the best
We have had a few issues with it, her high pressure fuel pump went out, its a problem with these cars, and Mini now warranties them for I think 100k miles? Last month the brake light came on red so they towed it up to Niello Mini, we hoped for a free brake job, but all they did was change the pads
The rotors were just barely to spec, I complained, they did nothing
So they spent what, a $1000. to tow this thing to change the pads only, idiots. One of the towing companies broke all the jack pads, so they had to replace them all , and I told them the hood scoop was starting to melt so they had to replace it also
But she loves it
She went with a with a "British Flag" theme on it, we even had a local place do a British flag on the rear wing only, came out really cool
Anyway if she ever gets online again i'll have her stop in. Our club actually went over to MA forum now. Pic of her wing and the second pic is both of our cars. BTW, that is Janet in the first pic.

I'm still around. Mine has almost 25k miles and she's going strong. The dealership has called multiple times about people looking for a MINI like mine, but they can't offer me enough money to induce me to sell her. She's perfect for me!
Still here, enjoying my car. We even traded the Justa for a Clubman S for my wife about 6 months ago.
I'll be hitting 36k miles on my car by the end of this month so I'll be out of the Maintenance program. :(
Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi everyone.. still rolling, and enjoying this car insanely... I'm somewhere around 55k right now, and recently encountered the Dreaded Carbon Buildup problem on my MCS (you MCs are so lucky not to have to deal with this). Thankfully, the dealer took care of it this time with their walnut sandblaster, but I'm a bit disappointed in MiniUSA's ambivalent response on this one
. I believe the dealer normally charges around $700.
I know a few people have installed a catch can to help fix the problem, but I haven't yet decided if I would do that.. it's not really something I want to do myself, and there's no one here that I know would do it... so I'm just living with it until it returns, for now..
It's almost that time of year when the snows come out, and the dealer stock tires go into hibernation. Though, the stock tires are wearing a bit thin, so perhaps it's time to "retire" them (
apologies for the pun) and see if I can find some Christmas deals worthy of a Mini...

Hi! Looks like I sparked the thread up again
My car only has 29k on it, after getting a company car we use it a lot. The MINI still looks brand new
We are really interested in the new Roadster, when it comes out. I really miss my old Z4 BMW and this looks to be a good alternative. We did look at a used 2011 Z4, but they wanted $55,000 for it
BTW, our mechanic has been having a rash of the dreaded "death rattle" R56's come in. Everyone really needs to check their oil regularly, as they are coming in low. And if you hear any weird noises make sure you tell the dealer ASAP.

Out of curiosity, am I the only one who still has their MINI? Mine's doing great and was an excellent little hauler of my belongings a few weeks ago when I moved from Dallas to Boston. I managed to cram a LOT of stuff in the back with the rear seats down. How are y'all doing?
Well, I have mine. I can't imagine buying a car and selling it this quickly, unless it has problems. I do know that some people want new often. I don't want to spend the money on that. Too much else to do.
I still have mine too. I've already passed 50k miles because of my daily 100 mile round trip to work. Still love the car and plan to keep it for a couple more years.
I had some last minute warranty work done before the warranty ran out. They did the timing chain and even did the walnut blast of the intake valves. The car was hesitating a bit under acceleration and the valve treatment took care of it.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Still motoring here, I've got 56k miles on my Clubman. Loving the car as much as when I first bought it!
No serious problems although I am starting to get an intermittent squeak from the rear that isn't the brakes and doesn't seem to be the suspension. Troubleshooting, what fun!

Erin, I'm in Waltham but most of the time I'm downtown at work.
I'm not driving as much as I did in Texas but I try to wave at every MINI I see. I'm looking forward to the blueberry picking at the end of the month. Will you be there?
