Hi everyone!

Are there any fellow soon-to-be motorers out there who are in production in week 16? My "dash" is scheduled to be finished on the 21st!

Where is your MINI now? How was it getting information? I wonder how long it takes after production to get here? Mine is going to Charleston and then up to Cincinnati. Do you have an ETA date?

Thanks to this forum I have been able to get tons of info. There is a tracking post here that has everything you need. I believe mine is in transit due in New Jersey on the 24th. I haven't had any luck tracking the actual ship location, it says no data available. But according to my cargo info I am on the Otello. Read the post, and then you will spend everyday tracking. I think obsessed describes me. I can't wait. What are you getting?

I am glad to know I am not the only one obsessed!! How many weeks did they tell you?
Mine is Metallic Midnight Black with a white roof and white racing stripes. I got premium, cold, chrome interior and exterior, white turn lights, fluid silver and the portable nav. with bluetooth. I also got the chrome gas cap. How about you?

I ordered the end of Feb. My production finished on the 10th. And on a boat on the 14th. My MA told me to expect it the end of the month. I order a Clubman S, pepper White, Sport Stripes, Black roof, Sport, Cold Weather, & Premium packages. Piano black interior trim, hi fi stereo and the black rims.

No name yet. I might wait this out until the right name hits me. This is the first time I have ever got into a car and I am enjoying it.

I am surprised we haven't found any other week 15-16s.

I am surprised too! I don't know what to call myself, week 15,16 or 17! My production started at 6:57am on the 9th which is in week 15 but it isn't scheduled to be completed until the 21st in week 17. Do you know? The lady at the mini phone line said it is about 30 days to the Ohio dealers from completion to delivery. Have you wanted a mini for long?

Wow, so ~6 weeks from ordering till delivery? Thats excellent. I'm thinking about putting in an order in the next couple of weeks.

I am also going with Pepper White with same color roof, no stripes though.

MINI Fever!

It is my understanding that your production week is based on when you finish. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. I went from in paint to awaiting a shipping vessel in 3 days. Then another 4 to board the ship. I am hoping for a quick arrival since the VDC is in Jersey City which is only about an hour from Princeton Mini. (without traffic which is almost never)

I have been eyeing the Mini for a few years. It just happened that this year worked because my current vehicle lease was ending.

That would make sense. I ordered it in week 15 but they told me I had a week 17 production. I was confused because it went into production the day after I ordered. It was in the Body shop yesterday. I am really hoping for paint today. How do we figure out what boat it will go on?

I have wanted one since I was 12 living in England. I always planned to have one shipped over and move the steering wheel. I FREAKED out when BMW started making them for the states. I have waited since 2003 for my kids to get old enough to not need a minivan! I turned 40 this year too so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/ Plug your VIN into the Cargo ID.

I still have little ones, but they will fit plus our other car is more for transporting them. You are lucky, I ordered mine at the end of Feb and it went into production the beginning of April.
