R53 -Vehicle Memory (from a newbie)

HI Guys.
My first post. I picked up an '05 MCS back in January - with only 20k miles! I paid an arm and a leg, but in addition to the low mileage and mint condition, the car is LOADED (minus Nav and bluetooth) and its black/black/black, which is sweet!

For today I have two questions:
1- Regarding the vehicle memory- does an Excel spreadsheet exist of all of the personalized memory options? This way I can just check off the settings that I'd like, print it out, and hand it to the dealer. Has anyone seen this, or do I need to create it?? The manual just does not seem super thorough on all of the options for each setting.

2- I noticed something a tad annoying with the windshield cleaning operation: If I pull the lever toward me, a ton of fluid shoots outs (I think too much; the stream is just too wide; it should atomize more like in other vehicles), but the wipers do not turn on immediatly - or ever. I can not tell if I just need to pull harder, because the switch is not making contact, or if the delay is just too long.
Consequently, I end up with fluid all over my side windows by the time I fumble with it to get the blades to turn on. I wish the blades would start wiping before the stream of fluid comes out of the jets.

Thanks!!

1- There is a sheet. My dealer gave me one when I ordered mine back in 06. I just checked off what I did/didn't want, then faxed it back to them.

2- The delay is a bit long. You just have to hold it until the wipers start.

I didnt like how long it took for the wipers to start either and then I didnt like how long they kept going. So now I hold the stalk down and pull it towards me to make the windshield wipers go fast and stop when I want. If you do it this way then they dont automatically keep going forever after you stop squirting the windshield.

Good technique suggestion. Thanks!
