1st time hurts

Just bought a 2009 Astro black clubman for my wife. Traveled about 100 miles to dealer waited for stripes to be added, then asked to return on later date to add stripes, then 15 miles from dealer heading home I have 2 flat tires (appears I hit something in road, never saw or heard anything, to busy playing with everything). I call dealer, they send someone to give me a loaner to get home, and they keep car until stripes are installed. Now I have to pay for 2 tires. Not exactly the best way to start, but I guess it could have been worse. Other than that everything at dealership was smooth and painless. Wife is happy!

As long as your wife is happy nothing else matters!
I take it you didn't have the runflats. Weren't they fixable? Most flats can be plugged. I had a similar thing happen after purchasing four new tires. 2 flats, picked up roofing nails in a driveway. I always buy the tire protection plan when buying new tires. However, I don't believe those plans are offered on a new vehicle.

The roads in this country are infested with nails, screws and debris. I have had 3 flats in less than a year (2 in my 2005 MCS and 1 in the Clubman S).

Before my parents shipped my dad's Cooper to me in Cali, he got a flat tire. The dealership replaced his tire, free of charge. Guess it's a good thing to have tire protection...

I really like having run flats. They came in handy when I was driving through construction in North Florida...

MINI does indeed have a Tire/Wheel Package you can purchase upon Delivery, we did for $300, guess what it's going to cost to replace 2 RF Tires??
