convertible top in winter weather

Hi , we are looking at purchasing our first mini, one of our deciding factors will be how well the convertible will stand up in the weather in Wisconsin. Ice, snow, wind, cold, etc. Of course the husband likes the clubman, I like the convertible, but then again I can't decide which I like better, or which color.

thanks for the color options, but he is leary of the convertible in winter weather, does anyone have one in the cold white north, I'm certain once we relocate up to Wisconsin we will have a garage but I know it won't be kept in there all the time. Does the top hold up well under snow, ice?
