Yeah, I just got my production number and I need to make myself not check it multiple times a day.

Welcome, the only sure cure for what you've contracted is motoring, as many times a day as you can!

Just found out from ASK MINI that my production date is week 14. A little later than I expected, but he also stated it could move up.

I got very lucky to find a loaded 07' MCS with 10K miles when I got mine. I could not imagine having to wait multiple weeks.

It will be worth the wait

As a newbie to this forum myself welcome from St. Louis

Smullin,

'The waiting is the hardest part" is quite the understatement when it comes to counting down the days until your new MINI arrives.

I waited about 3 months; KILLER!! But I will say that coming to the NAM forum, reading up on a variety of interesting topics and just communication with other MINI Fanatics [like myself] really helped me get thru the long haul.

Good luck; you will not be disappointed!!!

Stay positive for now...I was supposed to be a Week 11 but I am in production in Week 10. I believe cameroon was a Week 11 turned Week 9! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Hello all, first post here... so glad I am not the only one... as you can see from my signature I too ordered my first ever MCS. I was fortunate the whole process took about 5 weeks. I want to thank this board and everyone for all the information, from tracking to modding. All I can say is the waiting will be even harder after it arrive at VDC, it all depends how fast the inspection and delivery truck on the road (or train), but I think it will be very rewarding at the end. Congrats to everyone, let's motor!

Sigo...Breathe slowly, take deep breaths, stretch out, and perhaps go shopping for some microfiber towels, Hydro, etc. so that when your new Mini does arrive you can keep it clean. Thought of a name yet?

FINALLY... got a call from dealer late last night that my baby finally arrived, after LONGGGGGG 5 weeks. Today went to dealer and snapped couple pics, can't wait to take my baby home (sigh... dealer not open sunday). Now the next thing is to see if I can take advantage of 4.9% financing and let the modding begin.... Will post pic soon.

Congratulations on your MINI. Week 14....well, it gives you time to explore this website and the MINI Lounge. Also check out the videos on the MINI website for how to do all your adjustments and how all the functions work which are probably a bit different than in what you are driving right now.

Thanks for the tip Larry , I think I will do fine with all the adjustments since I used to worked at BMW dealer, and have to explained to every buyer what each function does on all BMW models. Looks like the radio system on MINI pretty much similar to the 3 series (non-navi version), I do suprised no power seats on MINI , I thought with BMW products they should power seats. Anyways, I am happy with what I purchased .

I'm so jealous of y'all. I was told by ASK MINI to not expect mine until 1st week of May at the earliest
