Just got call from MINI that I am approved for their promotion finance rate of 4.9%, can't complain... I know penfed has lower rate but somehow didn't got approved. Anyways, picking her up in about 3 hours.

Long time looker, first time (sad) buyer

Hello, just got a 2008 MCS DS with black stripes. Is there any information/feedback about the Cincinnati mini dealer? Sadly, I have to go there my very first week of ownership due to (apparently prevalent) window issues.
Is the Cincinnati dealer up to the challenge? Will they save my most cherished birthday present EVER? Did I make a mistake? I'm feeling a bit of buyers remorse for the purchase, having the unreasonably high expectation that the windows actually close.

Please talk me down from the ledge......

Sorry to hear about this Abbie, I too ordered my 09 MCS back in January this year, got the car 2 weeks ago, but only been driving for about a week (on business trip the second week), so far no problem (knock-on-wood). My two other friends also purchased from Cincinnati Mini, they had not complain about their service yet. What happened to the windows? Please let me know what your outcome is, good luck!!

Rest easy abbie01. Many a awesome mini, mine included, needed a couple of tweaks.

Wait till you get to head down a couple twisty roads or just feel the acceleration coming out of 2nd and it will be allllllll right.

Take a deeeeepp breath, let it out, breathe........better now?

Thanks tgs91!

You are a Zen master. For you, I'll take a step back. But I'm not climbing down until I go to the dealer on Saturday.

I finally got word that my production is supposed to be complete 3/30. I hope it gets here in time for MOTD. I would really like to experience that in a brand new Mini.

YEAAA! I went to the dealer and they fixed it by re-programming/re-initializing. The dealer was great, and the ride home was Stunning!

Thanks again everyone. I am a believer.
