Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!

My name is Stelios and I live in Greece. I do not own a Mini (yet), but I do own a Peugeot 207 GT (1.6thp). You might ask yourselves what a Peugeot owner might be doing in a Mini forum. Well, the 207's engine is an offspring of the BMW/PSA cooperation.

Actually, I found your website through the visitor log on our website - www.carsinspections.com . Somebody mentioned the VAG bov upgrade?

Well, that link summoned me here...
Yes, I am a tuner (also a Mech. Engineer), but I am not here to discuss my tuning work. I'm sure you'll find plenty of it without my help.

The reason why I joined your forum was because the 207 1.6turbo and the Mini Cooper S R56 Turbo share the same engine. The same brand new, unknown to many, direct injection turbo engine with a lot of tuning potential.

Whether we like it or not, the latest developments and extreme upgrades always come from the States. On the other side of the Atlantic, we are doing our best to get the maximum power out of 1.6T, while trying to improve its reliability, too.

From my point of view, there is a lot of technical knowledge yet to be acquired on the 1.6turbo. If you need any help, I'm here for you.
I am sure there is a lot for all of us to learn in this forum and hopefully I might be able to help answer a few difficult questions from the Engineer's point of view.
