Buying my first MINI

I am in the process of buying a Mini Cooper S. I am thinking of getting it with the sports pkg, premium pkg, convenience pkg and cold weather pkg. I am also considering getting the sports suspension and the limited slip diff installed. I would appreciate any comments and advice.

Thanks!
Michael

Sounds like some good choices. You will love the heated seats even if you are in a warm climate.. Great back rest before or after a round of golf for us.

The LSD is a LOT less expensive than adding it later so i would definitely go for that one.. It's the one thing I would really have liked to have with mine.

Convenience pkg is the one that is so-so by most accounts. The sports suspension used to be part of the premium package if I remember right. If you are ordering a new one you may be duplicating that spec.

Like my car as is at this point and it's still great for those mountain runs as well as everyday use.. First order of business would probably be to ditch the runflats.. I have over 50K miles on my tires and they have performed like they are on rails.. Great combination of mileage and handling.

Have fun and above all enjoy!

My wife just got her MCS and after riding with her awhile I changed my order. The sports seats are too hard for me. My right leg was uncomfortable. But I am older and the leg is too. I opted for the Lounge leather seating. I also got rid of the sport suspension because I don't intend to track the car and the car rides plenty good as it is. I thought the ride would be too stiff.

You can see my sig. I got the high fi upgrade and the LSD. It's the only way to go with a 6 speed.

Welcome. When do you plan to place your order?

Pat
