Hi Folks - new member here. I actually don't own a mini but my daughter does.I'm a Chev/Olds guy ( 80's vintage ) but do take an interest in her car!

Her first car was an 87 Olds Cutlass Supreme but her dream car has always been a Mini Cooper which she took possession of in June of 07. It's a 07 Mini Coopers S - 6 speed manual - upgrade on the sound system ( of course! ).I must admit it is a sharp looking car and she loves it!

We do have some issues with the car ( mainly cold weather start / frozen throttle valve ) which is covered in great detail on this forum. I'm hoping they get the kinks worked out soon though.

I haven't convinced her to come onto this forum yet but I myself have gained a lot of valuable info that has helped her out. Great Site! MD

I just ordered a new MCS for February production, current drive is an '04 Cooper.
