Welcome from Calgary. I was in Winnipeg in the spring last year...some nice old architecture in your downtown area.

Well were staying warm but it has been a long cold winter. today it is still in the -20c range but there is hope in the forecast for near freezing by the weekend. The cold weather has also proven to be a problem for the Mini. Our '09 Clubman S has been at the dealer since the beginning of Dec struck with the cold weather intake manifold problem. Maybe we will get it back if weather warms up.

Welcome to NAM

I'm the new St.Louisan, former Pegger, Sandy Hooker. Sorry to here about the intake issue. I had a couple of cold weather issues with my 03, no intake issues though. I wonder if this would fix the problem.http://www.waymotorworks.com/product...cat=363&page=1

The fact that this intake uses the scoop as an air source, and travels the air over the engine may help the extreme cold air to be slightly heated before it enters the engine.
