We bought our Mini from Thadeus at Neillo Mini in Sacramento. The entire experience was relaxed, actually enjoyable. Thadeus was great to work with - no pressure whatsoever. We picked up our Mini in the middle of March, so ordered a couple of months earlier. At the time we got a GREAT price from them. Though I'm sure everything is different now - in pricing, I mean - Neillo did offer the best pricing of the several Bay Area dealers I contacted at the time. I have nothing but good things to say about Thaddeus and Neillo.

I was looking for a deal to take advantage of the slow car sales market but I wanted a base oxygen blue mini with auto trans. I looked around for awhile and East Bay had the only one that was close.

They went about $1200 under MSRP.
I didn't get hosed but I think I could have done better had I ordered the car with just the things I wanted. (nix the black ceiling and ipod usb radio) and get the better AC.

Pleasenton is pretty far for me and there is no way I'm going back there for service. I hope that isn't a problem in the future

Try some other dealers.
I found Concord to be the worst to deal with in the Bay Area.

Got it at MSRP, and the service has been superb!

STAY AWAY FROM MINI OF MT VIEW.
Why do you say to stay away from Mini of Mountain View? Can you share your experience with me? Thanks!

Not my experience so far. Actually so far so good, and they are very close by which is a plus.

I ordered mine at Mini of Concord and had a great experience. My MA has stayed in touch with me through email and hand written cards (shocking) throughout the whole process. They were super knowledgeable and the BMW Collision Center does some amazing work (I work in auto claims, so I am very familiar).

Hope that helps!

I took delivery two weeks ago from Mini of Concord and have been very pleased with all my transactions with them. I got my ordered Clubman S for $1250 off MSRP and actually won a $500 roof graphic w/ free install in a contest of theirs. Nice folks too.
