The Undine SHOULD be at Pier 31 as of 22 minues ago... and it SHOULD be departing for NY in ~2 hours @ 4:30pm EST.

I'm heading out in my kayak to wave to her!

Tourcoing hasn't updated since 12:00 today and before that the last update I found was back in July!
Looks like she'll have no problem making it to NYC by Sat, though.
I'm hoping I get to go pick her up next weekend.

Wooooo hoooooo, we are back at sea and heading towards New York.

WannaB it is a race to see who gets there first, I am thinking that Tourcoing will arrive first.

And by the way my "All aboard Tourcoing" thread sank like a rock, I guess my MINI is the only one on board, so the ship should be in and out in no time!

Sloopy is singing,,,, can you hear it??
I'll be home for Christmas,,,,you can count on me.....
please have snow and mistletoe and mini's under the tree.....

Glad the sites worked for you. From all the research I did, seems there are distribution centers at all of the ports. Once your MINI is "discharged" from the ship at final port destination....AskMini has no further info...it seems at that point, your MA or the sales manager is the ONLY person that might be able to shed some light on the actual dealership ETA. It is maddening, to say the least. I was about ready to just bust!
It was very quick for me from the port to dealer.....and I picked up my MINI today!!! Love at first sight Hang in there.... enjoy the tracking while you can.....and know that when the tracking ends....it is just a matter of days.....you are nearing the home stretch....good luck....and yes...I can hear sloopy singing.....

She's FINALLY home!

It was a nail biting wait. I watched her from production to the ship yard,
and on the boat. Across the English channel and the Atlantic.....
I saw her pull in and out of Halifax, NY, Charleston and then Brunswick,
where she was finally able to give up her sea legs....get checked out...
and put on a truck. Picked her up at the dealer today. BIG KUDOS to
Paula and Burton @Vista MINI in south Florida....HIGHLY recommended!
They had her sitting dead smack in the middle of the showroom floor when
I arrived.....and now....she is home at last! Of course it poured the whole way home, putting a bit of a damper on my motoring plans....but hey,
the sun will be out tomorrow....and so will I....inniMINI.

Well... the Port of Halifax didn't show it there this morning, so it must have actually left yesterday afternoon.

Anybody have any other updates?

From the Port of NY website:

VesselCall SignTerminalBerth #CargoEstimated ArrivalEstimated DepartureActual
ArrivalActual
DepartureUpdatedUNDINESHJCPublic Berth - NJ1419 Autos 12/13/2008 07:00 12/13/2008 16:00 12/10/2008 12:49 UNDINESHJCPublic Berth - NJ17 Autos 12/13/2008 18:00 12/14/2008 01:00 12/11/2008 14:28
So, as of yesterday, it looks like the Undine isn't reaching NY until the EVENING of the 13's, instead of the morning... and it should be departing in the early morning hours of the 14th.

The WW lines schedule is still the same:

NY - 13th
MA - 15th
SC - 17th
GA - 18th

If you're talking about the port in NY/NJ, it's HERE

Then I clicked on "Vessel Activity" at the top

Then typed in "UNDINE" into the "Vessel" section

Hope that's what you were looking for!

Yikes! The NY Port website won't open for me. It just keeps trying to load again and again.
I'll try it later.
I want to see when Tourcoing is due in since she seems to be delayed until Sunday now.

Are you using a MAC?

Thanks for the info. You can actually use a mac, but it takes some doing. If you're using Firefox, you can download a user agent switcher, then override the expired security certificate, then the site loads correctly.

I'm thinking that it won't matter that much whether Madame Undine arrives early or late tomorrow. Since it's still scheduled to depart on Sunday, they'll have to get the cars off one way or another.

Oh. Oops. It's not scheduled to depart until Monday. Still, I can't imagine much goes on at the vdc on Sunday.

Thanks Blainestang! I don't use a Mac, but I am on Firefox.

So, wait. Is the last time the "arrival actual"? It says today at 13:31! Could that be??? Two days earlier than the updated schedule of Sunday?

ETA: OK, I opened it in IE and see that time was the last update. So the estimate is noontime on Sunday. That's still OK.

Looks like the Undine actually may arrive before Tourcoing,,,not that it is a big deal but it's interesting to see their different times of departations ( and is that a word!!??) and different routes and they are coming in pretty close to one another.

They updated Undine's times. At first I thought, "You beast of a ship, you are in Tourcoing's berth, you need to leave; Tourcoing is due in at noon!", but then I noticed for her earlier arrival, they have her scheduled for a different berth.

Thanks to marinetraffic.com I am able to officially say that The UNDINE is docked in NYC/NJ.

My car has been updated in the BMW Computer System to "Received at VPC". The update was done at 12:00AM on the 13th. The work order for my car has also been printed. The estimated dealer delivery is 12/19. However, I am getting the Union Jack and Rally Lights installed. So some of you may get your cars quicker, it depends on if you are getting anything installed at the VPC.

Thats good news!

I noticed that it was in the general vicinity of the dock (according to vesseltracker) since about 11am this morning, so it definitely got there earlier than scheduled... which was 4pm EST today. So, departure and arrival times for future docks should HOPEFULLY be slightly moved up as well. HOPEFULLY

I just really want to get ours before Christmas!
