Which production week am I?

Greetings all! I must report now with great excitement that ASK-MINI told me today that my car started production this morning (10/01/08 at approximately 7am). The very nice rep then stated that it should finish production on 10/07/08 and that there would be about a 4-5 week ship time to get to California.

My question is this...

Which support group should I now join?????

Am I week 40 based on the start of production or am I week 41 based on the projected finish? Like a true noob, I forgot to ask on the phone.

I also have my VIN number now ...the excitement is building.

Congratulations and welcome to the waiting game! You'll find plenty of company here!

Someone on the Week 40 forum said that a rep at ASK MINI told them that the week is assigned based on the completion date, so that would make you a Week 41er!

So hop on over there and introduce yourself!

Once you have your production number and it is acknowledged on MINI USA as a real production number; how long does it take for the build data on MINI USA to update to your correct build data?
