Finally, I came up with a name for the R53 that I like and more importantly, she likes.

"Black Sunshine"

This works for us on several levels - for her, it's a reflection of how happy and smiley the little black car makes her. Like sunshine, only, well, black.

For me, not only am I a fan of White Zombie (who wrote a song by the same name, that I'd forgotten all about, until today), but it also hints at my intentions for this car once I've got it back to Europe
