So far, I'm not impressed with Quality Control for new Mini Coopers.

What was the outcome? Did you pick your MINI?

I did pick it up and all has been great. The dealer set me up with a rental, the part came in sooner than expected. It took just a few days instead of a week or more. Good Outcome..having fun!

don't hate me, but didn't MINI drop in regards to the JD Power reviews? My 07 ran without issues... I was taken back when I read that last year that MINI had dropped in the rankings... I am looking to move back to MINI ... once I clear my head on LR2 or back to MINI (:

Whoooa!!! They gave you a hard time accepting a check from a bank? Was it a personal check or the loan check? I'm buying in Morristown, NJ, live in PA and using a check from a credit union in Atlanta. They might hold mine for a year.

Bummer to here everyones problems. Lucky mine went smoothly. I didn't knwo there was a prep fee. I never saw it on the sales list so i'm assuming westchester mini takes care of it. I did have the bad luck of getting hit from behind(while the car was parked late at night) 36 hours after i picked it up, and now have to have the whole hatch replaced and the bumper painted.
and now am having trouble getting the car registared.
