Who is Tyler Wallace... a question we would all love to have answered in more detail than I can possibly provide. But, I'll do the best I can. Tyler Wallace is....
...the wind.
...the sky and the earth.
...and all that lies between.
And if that doesn't really answer your question:

At first, I thought I was getting a response similar to me asking my wife what's for dinner or where are we going tonight, but this was much better. Poor, poor Mr. Wallace - 5 page thread about him. Wow....
That thread is fantastic. It should be required reading!
From that thread:
I almost fell out of my chair laughing. My boss looked at me like "what's so funny over there?"
That was classic.... I'm halfway through the novel, thread, now and it's pure genius.
Sorry Retro....

In fact, I would like to throw out there for vote, the following decree:
If our young friend doesn't appear in the next couple of days (or months), the next MOTD shall be forever known as The Tyler Wallace We Hardly Knew Ye Memorial MINIS on The Dragon In The Year Two Thousand and Eight.
I can't even type that without crying like a baby....
Sorry, I have to go now.

CR&PW&JB, I have two comments:
1. After reading the entire Tyler thread I want the last 25 minutes of my life back, and I believe you owe it to me since you're the one who resurrected Tyler in this thread.
2. I really, really miss Tyler Wallace and hope he is ok. (I also hope he has currently dedicated his life to finding a fix the Clubman roof rack problem - we need a good man on that ASAP).
Very, very funny thread.

You want your 25 minutes back, Rich ?? I should be sending you a bill for linking that thread !
I still can't read that thread without all the emotions flooding back...
and
. I guess this is how it would feel to listen to a clown's eulogy.

I remember the "Counterfeit MINI" years and we should give Tyler Wallace credit where credit is due.
From the outside, the cars looked just like a real MINI. But once you opened the door and sat inside, you were behind the wheel of 1986 Ford Festiva (and not the LS model, either). Quite an unsettling experience. It was later revealed that these cars were manufactured in North Korea using technology stolen from PIXAR.

Yes... funny now.
But during the massive manhunt, many of us took years off our lives, and some did, in fact, perish from both the physically exhausting manhunt, and the emotional distress.
Oh, the humanity.

Out of respect for Tyler, I have removed the red from my car's name in my signature. I'm a newbie, I didn't know the NAM heritage!
Retroschmidt, you may want to run while there's still time.... Just be sure to kennel your dogs.

OK this damn near killed me:
Oh how frigging cleaver Polklifer (if that's your real name). I'm guessing you thought us Americans were too dumb to pick-up on your little ploy to distract us from finding Tyler. Didn't think we could figure out that an anagram for Polklifer is "REP OF KILL". So now we know that Tyler has been kidnapped by some organization named "KILL" of which Polklifer is a representative. Let's see K.I.L.L. what could that stand for?
Well Hello......and who are you? Care to shead some scoopage with us???
Yes - still LMAO about that thread....kind like "Where's Waldo" but oh so much better....
