Just got off the phone with ASK MINI - still on schedule for week 40; may change - who knows...check again next week

 

I went to Crown Mini in Richmond. Great bunch of folks there (so far). I see you are from SoCal. Ironically, I have a brother there in East LA.

I just called and talked to a person and they said I was scheduled for week 40, but no specific start date.

Count me in! Sounds like I've had about the shortest wait of everyone here.

 

behlton - rasputinj and I have an eta of mid-October (whoo-hoo!!). We started at week 40, but have been moved up! So looks like we have the shortest wait time .

 

Yeah, yeah...well, us East Coasters will probably get our Week 40 builds about the same time you get your Week 38

How long is the wait for a Clubman anyhow?

 

Oh ya??? Well we just found out our dear MCCS went in to productions TODAY!!!! ...and will be done next Monday and ready for shipment....I'm sure you can hear a big series of CHEERS coming from Southern California!!!!

The wait depends on when you order, what boat your car gets on, how long it takes to reach the dealership once it's on US soil...so it can vary.

 

Somebody call Teresa at Crown Mini and get her to commit to delivery date for us week 40 people!

Welcome to the NAMily and enjoy the wait. We'll all try to keep each other sane. I've been waiting 7 years for a MINI so it's great now that I'm down to that last couple official months!

Looks like there is just a few of us here, as the opportunists have left us to get theirs sooner . My MA has told me that hopefully mine with arrive by Thanksgiving, so I'm just kinda settling in for awhile and using that as my goal date (though I'd b happy if it arrived earlier).

Welcome rdamico22, the madness has started! Even my husband was asking for the login today for the MINI lounge for tracking and he's been very uninterested in this purchase thus far, so I guess the illness is spreading.

 

I'm looking forward to a Halloween delivery, but I know I'll be happy no matter when my baby comes.

I am probably looking at early November delivery, but I hope that things will move more quickly so that I can get my hands on the car by end of October.

Well just talked to Mini USA they have my status as order received, but no build date...My MA still tells me week 40...so I'll stay here and keep my fingers crossed.

 

Was that automated ASK MINI or did you talk to a person? The automated thingy still has no scheduled build, but last time I talked to a person they confirmed I was week 40, but no hard date.

 

I talked to someone...My prod # doesn't even "exist" on the automated thingy or in the owners lounge for that matter...She said to call back in a week and they should have more info

Everyone, post when you get your VIN, guess we're only a few days from the build once we get that. I'm on the West Coast so I'll be getting mine later than most the week 40'ers but at one time I thought I'd be lucky to be getting the car by Christmas so even by Thanksgiving is an improvement.

I ordered my mini on 9/6 and have a production #, but not sure of the production week yet. The "Owners Lounge" and "Ask Mini" do not have a build week yet.

 

desertmini21 - I assume you are in the desert?? We ordered our MINI Clubman from Las Vegas MINI...(I realize there are many cities in the desert...).

 

Did you talk to a person at ASK MINI? I've called and gotten the automated thing and it still says no production date yet, but I just got off the phone with a person and he confirmed I was scheduled for Week 40.

 

woot! what an awesome way to start off a weekend! i called aks mini on a whim for the second time this week not really expecting any new results and was told ill b in week 40! i cant freaking wait!!!
