Got an e-mail from our MA, who said the car may be at the dealer by October 31st! That would be sweet!

 

Wow. That's pretty proactive of your MA. If I don't hear anything from mine before early next week, I'll shoot him an e-mail. Mine will be at the VDC on Saturday, so it shouldn't be too long after that.

 

Now this is where I start getting really jealous . That is great. I am still about a month out from receiving mine, whaaa. Congrats and post lots of pics bhelton!

 

Just talked to my MA (Ky at Mini of Dallas) and he tells me that my Clubman, and his Coupe are both on the same ship. Kinda' cool.

Also talked to my CU, and locked in financing. All that's left now is to sign on the dotted line once it arrives.

Delta Comunity CU in atlanta 4.75 %<60 5.5% >60 is the best I have found. They will only do msrp so you will have to put he tax and dealer fee's down.

 

Looks like all of us Tombarra riders will be delayed by 1 day. WW shows a 10/19 arrival into NY now.

Don't fret! The VDC isn't open on the weekends anyway. So as long as our MINI's roll in by the end of the weekend, we should still be good to go.

Well it should be easy to get updates. Is your MA on your boat's support group ? I agree, let's start signing the paperwork for these MINIs!!!! Congrats on the good rate. That is what I have with PenFed as well.

MY MA Called me and asked if I could take the delivery.. Guess what?? I took a day from work and I got the delivery this evening. Pics will follow soon.

Ummm...what he said! I personally think that pics now would be better before those wheels are coated with brake dust. Selfish....just plain selfish! I think I need a fix....look at MINI accessories or an Ambien...hmmm.

Hey eprasad7, I trust we can expect pictures first thing this morning! It's great knowing someone has their baby now. It seems more real than ever.

 

Slept very late last night, after partying hard wid frnds, unfortunately couldn't click any pictures and now I am at work, I would say.. By Evening..! One disappointment though was the Audio System. I had the HI-FI and isn't HI-FI enough for my liking. I want to change those speakers right away. Would that hamper my Warranty or anything? Anybody can help me finding a good place who can replace my speakers with the Best in the Market.??

 

Lots of great info in the audio/navi forum on this subject. Replacing the speakers is a pretty big PITA as you have to remove the back seats and most of the trim to get at the rear speakers. It's on my mods short list along with the rear channel swap and addition of an amp.

 

Rybo and I have the same MA...I agree that they are the troublemakers in the group.
