I'm getting a MCS on monday!!!!! I'm going from a land rover so this should be a huge change, but I'm sooo ready for it. My LR had so many problems, as expected, and it was slow as anything. Also, it got aboout 18 MPG highway.. so I can't wait to see how long I can go without filling up haha. All my guy friends I hang out with drive mustangs so I can't wait to be able to go on cruises and such with them! wooo! Also, its my first manual.. I've been practicing in my bf's jeep... I couldn't be more excited!!!!

 

Don't leave us hanging... specs ?? Color, packages, etc, etc, etc....

haha well, its an 02 MCS... chili red with the panther black leather interior and it has the premium package. I know when I get it my bf is going to want me to get exhaust and a smaller pulley he's already told me that haha so i'm sure mods like those will be done eventually as well.. I was hoping to get a newer one, but I couldn't get enough from the trade-in on my LR. :( that thing went down in value more than any other car I can think of! Bought it for 20k, now they're telling me I may get $6500... just ridiculous But anyway, my mini has only 18k miles, and looks beautifullll I'll post pictures when I get it!!

ps- If anyone knows what kind of simple mods mini owners do first, let me know!! I'll look around on the forums, but if anyone has suggestions, I'd like to hear them!!

Most often it's tinting and decals. And vanity plates, of course.

 

The best upgrade a MINI can get is the driver. Do a club-sanctioned driving school at a track. It'll take weeks to peel the grin off your face.
