08 OCS ordering. Option questions.
I just ordered my MCS.
Options that i am comtemplating are
Heated Seats - I live in CA. Maybe i'll use it less than 4 times a year. But only $500 option and retro-fitting that costs WAY more so I just decided to get them.
"Convinience PCK" -
I dont like the arm rest (too small of storage - thinking about euro arm rest)
auto rain sensor ( I have no use for it)
$1000 USB/IPOD/Bluetooth option (I just eed Bluetooth for my phone since im a Sat Radio Listener)
Universal Garage Opener - Dont need it
But I do like Auto Dim rear mirror, Comfort Access key. - only $500 bucks more and I get the stuff I dont like... hahah

Good decisions, we chose to forego the convenience pkg too, but we added the Comfort Access ($500) and the lesser BT/USB pkg ($500). The other items while only $500 more, just didn't interest us and the center armrest was uncomfortable and awkward for us when we test drove, just not in the right place. I live in NC, have heated seats in one car, and one car without. I love heated seats! I run cold by nature and run them probably 7mo of the year. They feel great on cold mornings. Told myself to never skip that option again.
The only option package I got was Cold Weather. Even if it doesn't get that cold, the heated seats are still really nice to have--like Calicoskies said--on cold mornings. I wanted the garage door openers, auto-dimming mirror, comfort access, and auto rain sensor, but decided to use that money on redwood red lounge leather seats, anthracite headliner, LSD, and web spoke wheels.
If I were you, I'd just get the Cold Weather Package, add the Bluetooth/iPod separately for $500, and forget the Convenience Package.
I'm with Calicoskies on the arm rest too. I didn't like it at all and it got in the way of my arm for shifting.

I kinda wish I took the winter package along with the sprot package now, I wasnt really thinking about the heated seats in the summer. I'm going to have alot of cold morning again when school starts up again.
So i called my MA and wanted to to change few things.
So I kept Cold Weather Package - might as well get the auto fold mirros. I took off Convinient Pck and separately added AUTO DIM Mirror, $500 USB/BT option, Comfort Access Key.
I could live without the garage opener, auto sensing wiper and arm rest. Ill probably get the euro version which has descent storage room.
Now, I just cant wait. haha
Anyone has pic of of rooster red seats? I want to see the whole seat picture.
