Hello all, well we just ordered our new MC S last week from FlowMini in NC and we are so looking forward to it! Our salesman has not sent us our production number yet (been a week but he e-mailed us yesterday and said we would be getting it). We are newbies and have no idea about production weeks, shipment dates, etc. The wife is trying to figure out how many 12-volt powerpoints are located in the car and we both are wondering how long it will take to be built. Any advice and what to expect will be deeply appreciated.
Red mini s, black hardtop, auto, black bonnet stripes, checkerboard mirror caps, 17" crownspoke wheels......

Can't help on the '08+ models, but my '07 has....three or four, I think. One in the dash/gearshift area, one in the boot, and I think one or two in the backseat area.

Hi Crat and congrats on the new order! I love the Chili Red, but I was outvoted by dh and ds. I like the Sparkling Silver too, but the red was so striking. I'm not sure I have the Chili Red personality!
We also ordered from Flow MINI. Had a very nice experience there. Our order was "keyed in" June 9, and we were told it might be a week or 2 before we have a production week. We were told on 5/31 that we should have delivery first half of Sept. I'm encouraged by the members here who report that their Clubbies are going into prod quicker than they had been told.
Anyway, welcome and have fun learning all your new info. My dh and I quiz each other on a new MINI fact several times a day!

I finally got my production number from my MA on Monday (6.16.08) and called the '1-800-ask mini' today to find out the status... guess what... the Mini was produced yesterday!!!! yip-eee!!!! it should not be too long!!! ( I can hardly breath... has anyone died from the wait???)

Welcome and congrats new folks! You might want to check out(if you haven't already) the Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club for some local events, get togethers, etc. There is also M2C2 just to the south leaning more toward the Charlotte area.
