Good news: Our car will be delivered on Sunday.

Bad news: We leave tomorrow (Saturday) for a 2 week vacation.

This is the first time that I've ever wanted to delay or shorten a vacation.

Oh man that sucks. I'm supposed to be on vacation around the time I think my Mini will arrive but it's not a 2 week vacation, just a long weekend.

I was on vacation the week my MINI was being assembled, and that was tough! I can really sympathize with you on this one, though. If my MINI were being delivered the week I was to be on vacation I seriously doubt there would be anything else on my mind but hurrying through it. Damn, that's a conundrum...

 

Vacation will be miserable. Wait, but it Monday morning, load up your stuff, strap the kids to the roof, maybe your wife if she is a complainer, and hit the road with good gas mileage and fun driving!

 

I'm hoping to get back from my vacation just in time to pick up mine. We'll see how the timing works.

 

Good news: my car made it safely to the port in Baltimore (after crossing the Atlantic).

Bad news: I don't get to Baltimore for another 10 days or so.
