A virtual "MINI wave" to you all. We joined the MINI revolution last September and I've lurked about these parts for some time, but this is my inaugural post. What a wonderful car and a great forum!
Thanks to the incredibly helpful guidance we found in the Navigation & Audio forum, we just completed a very clean installation of a Sirius Sportster 5 satellite radio in the MINI. We learned how to make use of the factory antenna--which is already set up to receive Sirius signals--instead of cluttering up the roof with the magnetic Sirius antenna. We also found a vendor who makes a great mount for the head unit.
Though curious about MINIs for some time before we bought one, we're totally hooked now. Besides being a blast to drive (and rather economical to boot), we have surprised ourselves at how practical it can be. We even manage to fit our two Labrador Retrievers in it!
Anyway, just wanted to finally say hello and thanks.

Donna, Mike's Clubman is the very color combination I toy with sometimes on the MINI USA website. I love the blue and silver together and have a feeling our pups would enjoy the extra room in the Clubby.
