Week 25 anyone?
Yep... the actual build doesn't take too long at all. One day to piece the body together. One day to paint it. One day to assemble it.
Mine was done and QC'd by noon Oxford time today. It was in the paint shop yesterday.
Have you watched the video on the Owners Lounge that follows a car through beginning to end. Interesting. They say that the interior is assembled in something like 57 minutes.

So they knew which ship you'd be on just after they started building yours. Interesting. I put my VIN in WW site and they do NOT have a record of me. Based on the early bookings theory, that means that I must be on K-Line.
I wonder if others would see their VIN show up on WW just after production started, rather than wait until production is finished.
You show "loaded" with date and time, I only see "booked" and "received". Do you see these as well? If so, Nessie is not loaded, yet

Andy
What day did you complete production?
Ordered 5/29, Production start 6/10, Prod complete 6/19, received at port 6/20 (1 AM). "Nessie": BRG/BRG/Tuscan Beige, Clubman, Sport, Premium, Auto

Hmmm, mine also completed production on 6/19 but I have not gotten past that step. I was really hoping for the Maersk Wave as well as I am on the west coast and the next boat looks like it doesn't leave for another 10 days (the Undine).
(the Maersk leaves 10 days sooner and is only a 20, not 23 day voyage like the Undine) Oh well, that's just the luck of the draw.....
There's nothing you can do about it, but it sure is frustrating knowing that if your car was finished one day sooner you could have the car 13 days sooner!

I hope not to the US. I was thinking it was only a week at most across the pond?! No?
It's first stop is actually Manzanillo (via the Panama Canal) and on to Port Hueneme, California.
W&W Line Schedule.
W&W Line Schedule.
These ships are on very tight schedules.....I imagine it's not like a shopping mall parking lot at the docks....there are no "extra parking spaces" for a 600 foot giant if it's late or early.
Week 25er's don't feel bad if you aren't on a ship yet. I'm a week 24 and not on a ship. I'm hoping today or tomorrow but the waiting SUCKS!!!
If you are on a KLine ship I don't think there is a way to track it but you could get the car 2 days sooner.
**edit** I just found out I am almost on my way!!! Boat leaves tomorrow!! Gets to Charleston July 5th! Almost on the 4th of July :D

So, I have entered assembly, all set for completion tomorrow. I even tried to talk the ASK-MINI rep into holding the boat for me. My theory was, you don't want to send a ship out half empty and I'm sure since production is behind they can't fill all the spots. No dice. I guess I'm waiting until July 21st for my Mini to hit Hueneme.
our MCSa, CR, B hardtop, black bonnet stripes, checkerboard mirrors, 17'' crown spoke wheels, armrest, red rooster color line, piano black, anthracite headliner, xenons .... we can't wait!!!!
