Week 25 anyone?
Thanks for the info! Looks like we might be on the same boat to the east coast.
The system is behind as i am still in the paint shop and already exited

If I'm reading the schedules right, WW has the Courage leaving June 22, arriving July 5 and the Integrity leaving June 28, arriving July 12. K-Line has Emden leaving June 24, arriving July 5, the Caribbean Highway leaving June 25, arriving July 8, and Sierra Nevada Highway leaving July 4, arriving July 17.
I say add a couple days to actual completion date, and the next one is the one you'll be on. Since I'm supposed to be done Monday (23rd), I expect I will be on the Integrity. Doesn't matter too much to me, as I'm out of town July 8-16.

EDIT: I assume Charleston....gee you guys have many more ships going to Charleston than we have going to California....that's bunk!

Those are all the Charleston port ships. I only listed those because 1) That's all that was asked about and 2) It's the one I've paid attention to as I know that's where mine should be coming into.
For Port Hueneme, on WW, the Maersk Wave leaves June 20 (tomorrow),arrives July 10, and the Undine leaves June 30, arrives July 23.
New York is the other port, right? Let's see...WW has the Fedora leaving today (June 19), arriving June 27, the Courage leaves June 22, arrives July 1, the Don Juan leaving June 25, arriving July 4, and the Integrity leaving June 28, arriving July 7.
I don't see a K-Line for either Port Hueneme or New York.

is the Automated line telling you what shop you are in? I've never had it tell me where my car is... just the completion date.
I just tried it again, well, it's kicking my back out to the live person again. Oh well.

"Your vehicle is scheduled for production with no set production date"
"Your vehicle is scheduled for production with an estimated completion date of..."
"Your vehicle is in production with an estimated completion date of..."
"Your vehicle is in the body shop with an estimated completion date of..."
I would assume that paint shop is an option too since it's on the list of codes. Best to talk to a live person, they don't mind, honest!
For us West Coasters it's still the Maersk Wave if your car is lucky (ship leaves Friday June 20th) or the Undine (leaving June 30th). Looks like my car will have lots of time to soak up the local color of the Port of Southampton.....he'll be there for more than a week!!

Hmm, I think I have a problem.

You should be able to figure out the ship based on the arrival.
Mine is on its way to Charlston SC.
My MINI lives! She was completed and run through quality check this morning. I imagine she is soaking up the sun the on back lot waiting for a train ride to the docks.
ASK MINI said that it is usually 5-7 days before they get to the port. I don't like the sound of that and from what I can tell, it usually doesn't take that long. Hopefully, the work stoppage won't have the shipping backed up too much, and she'll be able to get to Southampton before the Emden leaves on Monday or the Caribbean Highway on Tuesday.
What am I going to do now that there is no more reason to call ASK MINI?

Then he's going to just do donuts in the lot while waiting for the boat (after all, he's wanting 17" or 18" wheels, so why not tear up the 16" he's got now?)
What boat you hoping for?
OK, OK - I'm trying NOT to get too excited. I went to the W&W tracking site, selected "auto", put in my VIN number and got the following:
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL - SOUTHAMPTON - 20/06/2008 01:41
BOOKED - SOUTHAMPTON - 13/06/2008 09:08
So booked June 13, arrived at terminal at 1:41 AM today (the 20th) and it says it is being shipped on the MAERSK WAVE - sailing today! This would put it at PORT HUENEME, CA on July 10th.
So now my inner cynic says, "yeah, sure - wait and see" ;-)
