I am considering buying a 2004 Mini Cooper with 60K miles. My brother in the UK said that earlier cars were prone to some problems. Are there any things to lookout for? is this mileage too high?

I just sold my April build 2004 MCS with just a bit over 50K miles on it. I never had a single problem with it. It was modded to the hilt. I think 60K is okay.

I remember that '02 MINIs had issues but not any major problems
