New here, still Miniless
Hey,
Don't have one yet but I think we have decided on a Chili Red or BRG convertible S. I think we might order one because we always used to just buy off the lot. Just trying to keep it under $30K. It is for my sister so the only mod she needs is the automatic and park distance control. We were thinking for a while and decided against another BMW even though I love the new 1 series, they don't have the 3 or 5 door yet. I was thinking Acura TSX for the fuel efficency while staying decently fast but I had to keep it in the family so we are looking at Mini.
A few questions I have is, when is the new vert comming out? And is there anyone that makes a hardtop or speedster cover for these cars? I am having a difficult time searching because I guess the coupes are called hardtops and I keep getting cross searched. Lastly how often does the HK amp go out? Is it really that common? I spent almost 2 weeks looking for one for a friend about a year ago.
I think thats all I have right now but heres some pictures of my existing cars to introduce myself. I think the Mini will be a good fit because we would like a convertible in So. Cali and the E30 is getting modded to a point that it isn't practicle to have passengers in the car with me, plus it's gas mileage isn't too great.
Sorry about the quality, they are cellphone pics. And the ford?? I know.. but BMW AG doesn't make a truck, perhaps its time for an X5 4.8 with a Big Tex trailer.
