I got my new '08 Cooper S last Wednesday (5/14) and have been really pleased ever since. Just need to find some time to spend some quality time just me, the Mini and the Manual to figure out all this stuff. It's up to just a tick over 900 miles so not to many more and I can really start to enjoy the engine.

I am an SCCA Steward and Kart Racer so this just about the perfect fit for us. Really looking forward to being able to Solo it later this summer and hopefully get a few Hot Laps at Summit Point next month.

Really looking forward learning more about the car and just being able to go out and play.

Unfortunately my new baby has not been in front of a Camera yet - yeah I know I am a very poor excuse for a parent and car guy. But we got it Wednesday, I worked a 10 hr day Thursday then she went to Summit Point for a Race weekend, came home them on a road trip for 3 days. So no pictures yet, but it has been washed twice in the last week. If we don't get any this weekend, there will be pictures next weekend while it's out playing Pace Car.

But she is Lightning Blue, with White Top and Stripes and the 6sp paddles. AND even with the 4000 break in limit, still goes better than the PT Cruiser Turbo I sold to get it.
