2008 S, all dark silver= 2nd week observation

I am 58 years old, a retired concrete truck driver that has driven many machines in my life. This S with sports suspension is the best handling car I have ever driven. I am 6'4", and the seat isn't all the way back. The power is great, like a muscle car from the 60's. I am so glad I picked this car, its a work of art. The Peabody, MA dealer made the buying experience better than any I have seen.I can understand your energy for this car, thanks again for the help!!!!!.............DAN FAUST

Go-go-go!

I too am 58, a little less rugged than you maybe, and, so far, my wife won't let me retire...BUT I am looking forward to getting my MCS (1st week of July).
The dark silver was my second choice, but my Riviera is dark, so I went with the sparkling silver.

Did you get the white roof ? I really like how those look with your color...

Just picked up a used 2007 Sparkling Silver MC. Dark Silver would have been my other choice. Had driven a loaner MCS when mine was in the shop. My next MINI will be an S... but can't beat the gas mileage of the MC (my other vehicle is a F-150 @ 13mpg ).

Hey, Guy

Wow an F150 is miles away from a MC. Wondered how folks can afford to own them with ga$ prices so high. I almost got the MC since it gets the best MPG and has a spare, but, I'm coming off a lotta power and I like getting on the freeway easily. My '98 Riviera gets an honest 22 mpg with the full time supercharger. and it can move very fast.. but bet the MCS would beat it.

I've had a lot of cars, you name it, from Stuttgart to Detroit, and there's always a trade-off somewhere. I did like the 07 MC I test drove two weeks ago to make an offer on it, but didn't get together with the dealer on the price.

The whole car is dark silver, easy to keep clean and looks sharp. Its not too dark. Get on the web site and play around with the colors.Im so glad I got the dark silver. Good luck with the car, they are a blast.
