Just dont start getting scared about all the problems you end up reading about, 48 out of 50 times the problem will never come up for you (with a few exceptions).

I agree with Minian! If its in your heart you got it! I just FINALLY moved from a fullsize ford f150 to my mini and it has been a long time coming but ever since the days of Mr. BEAN on HBO I have wanted a MINI!

I think NAM is as close to a national MINI-owner's "club" as we will get. A highly diverse bunch, there always seems to be a hefty collection of enthusiasts here just about 24/7.
