New guy Ray

Hello everyone. I am a new mini owner and love my car. I have owned many sports cars before, this is a new fun experience for me.
However, my headlights shine too short in front of me. Driving at night on dark back roads it is light I have no lights on. Does anyone else have that problem?

welcome kind sir...

sounds as though a bit of aiming might be helpful...

there are two adjustment screws to correct headlight aim - one for horizontal, one vertical

the vertical one is furthest from the hood surface, and the horizontal one is a bit closer and laterally offset

at the risk of preaching to the wise, aim the car at a surface about 10 feet away and use tape or chalk to mark the upper light boundary of the low beams

since you'll have to mark, open the hood, adjust, close the hood, and then observe the change a few times bring patience

and still preaching to the wise, both the same height and not too high!

but mostly, welcome to the merry tar pit
