MINIature dilema...

As I grow closer to choosing a MINI, I am torn as to which trim level would best satisfy my needs/wants. The exterior styling and power of the Cooper S is appealing and is the platform for these options.

Is there a consensus for the must have options?

Thanks in advance!

Not really...it depends what you want out of your MINI. Details?

The S was must-have for me, as well as the cold weather package. If I were to order another MINI right now I'd also get the sport suspension and LSD.

But if you tell us more about you and what you'll want out of your motoring experience it'll help us give you some ideas.

I have tested both Coopers and like the S so Im sold on that part. My current car is pretty stripped of any luxury, besides a sunroof. The S performs to my liking so no performance options for me. I like the JCW front bumper but the rest of the kit is not to my liking. I have an iPod - who doesnt? - so I would like save CD's and space. Sport suspension is a must, it has a nice firm ride. S unroof is nice but I have heard that it hinders performance by adding weight to the top of the car.

I guess I care about how others would look at the car rather than what pleases me.
