I Broke My Mini.

Hey Everyone this is my first post and probably a bad first post. I was driving around and decided to take pictures when i pulled over and ran over a 6 inch pole that was sticking out of the ground which was super invisible and tore off the bottom of my bumper and bent my first radiator and the lines coming out of the i think is the a/c compressor. Does anyone know how much it would cost to FiX? here are some pics.

I had to replace half of the plastic air spoiler (the bottom bumper thing) on our 2006 about 2 weeks ago. Price for the part I had to buy was only about $27. The spoiler consists of two parts, the one you see and the one that supports the part you see and I had to replace the latter. I can't imagine the second part would be that much more expensive. I'd bet you can get both for under $100. It's easy to replace, both things held on by about 7 screws that run on the underside.

The bigger concern is the a/c condenser. Is your A/C still cooling?

Well first of all - Welcome to NAM. Secondly, I'm sorry your new MINI has a boop already... I can't help you with "fix it" costs - sorry...but I'm sure a few more will chime in to help on that account. I would still try and take it to the dealer and see what they give as an estimate - at least it's a place to start.

You could try one of the vendors here on NAM. Classic MINI has some good reviews.
