Glad I found you

Hey fellow Mini owner's, glad I found this site and see how active it is! I just bought a 2003 Mini, was crazy about them when I lived in Italy in the 70's. They were actually more reliable and easier to work on than Fiats. My new toy is a blast to drive, just hope the electronics don't do me in, I see a lot of posts with all sorts of gremlins in the little guys.

I too had the glove box opening by itself thing and fixed it with a .30 spring under the door latch. Several adjustments to the latch on the dash netted nothing, so looked closer and the door latch itself had a defective return spring.

Now, anyone know a good source for a door lock actuator? You know the dealer wants way too much for one.And do you have to go to the dealer for service indicator miles reset and program what the remote does??Lot's of questions,I know.

Thanks and look forward to using this site often.
