Oh that's funny. I just posted info yesterday for ()()== about how to look up info on WW site. The info on that first page hasn't changed since my car was loaded on the vessel. In fact, i just looked yesterday and it hadn't changed, so thanks for that. Cool to see all the progress. Now we just need our cars!

I guess the same as drummergirl. I bet "discharged" means no longer on board the ship and "delivered from" means it's no longer in the holding lot at the port.

I'm very puzzled because the status of WIKIMINI hasn't changed on the MINIUSA owner's lounge. How long can it take for BMW VDC to acknowledge receipt of the vehicle? And I want to change my sig but I haven't yet gotten verification of a change in status. ???

I think providing this ability to track vehicles is pure marketing genius. But for it to work, status changes need to be made timely.

Oh well, the driveway guy hasn't shown up either so I really don't want to accept the car for a bit. Don't let your babies grow up to be [] unable to read a calendar.

 

We are picking up our 08 MCS on Monday the 12th. We were hoping to get it delivered to the dealership by Saturday, but apparently there is no chance of that happening. Anyone know when they are picking theirs up?

 

I just checked the owner's lounge and it finally updated the status. It may be a day late and a dollar short, but still good to see!

 

CONGRATS Dphouse!!!!! Monday will be an awesome day. Enjoy your new baby. The wait is almost over for me too. My MA told me 5-7 days when he called on the 6th so I expect no later than Thursday. A least we will both have ours by next weekend. More time get the feel of the vehicle before we run them ragged on a weekend. haha!

 

Mine still says EnRoute. He must have decided to stay on the boat and go see Washington before heading to So Cal...

OH MY GOODNESS!!! My MA just called me and told me my car actually came in early, and is sitting the dealership as I type (and hyperventilate) I'll be picking up the baby tomorrow evening. I'll post pics, promise!

I just called my home phone's voice mail and I indeed got a phone call this afternoon saying my MINI is a carrier heading to its new home. My dealer is Scottsdale, AZ. My MA said mid next week it will be ready for pickup. The MINI site still says En Route so if your's does too, it might be sooner than you think. Good Luck to all awaiting similar news. I'll post images when it arrives.

MINI Congrats to you guys!!!! I figured it had to be fairly quick for you since you live in SoCal. I hope that means mine is Monday or Tuesday instead of Wed or Thursday next week. I figure the truck to my dealer in the Bay area will take 6-7 hours so I just call it a day. They know I am chomping at the bit!

 

Just a heads up: My dealer said allow 2 to 2.5 hours when you pick up to go over how the car works, process the dmv paperwork, financing, etc. Just make sure you have enough time if you have to be somewhere by 8pm.

 

I got no such call yet :(

 

I am working with Brian DeWire. Its possible your MA had the day off. It's hard for me to believe they wouldn't put both our cars on the same carrier. If you don't mind my joy, I had a double good day. I got the call about the MINI then another about a new job opportunity. I got the job and they are paying more than I asked. The extra pays the MINI's monthly payments. I you have a great day AEM. Good luck to you on your MINI.
