Yet another new guy
Greetings!
I joined this site last week, was thrilled to find it. Wow, what a fun and helpful resource!
I've been drooling over the Mini Cooper ever since its '02 intro, and have finally found myself in the position to get one. Probably going to begin looking at gently pre-owned for starters, but we'll see. The last car I owned that was an absolute thrill to drive was an Acura Integra (I put 190K on that baby!). For the past few years I have been driving a pretty sweet 4Runner, but at this point I don't need the size or capacity of an SUV.
I'm in the Midwest, and I look forward to contributing to the site as my Mini madness grows.

Marko, I don't know if it's still available, but if it is, it would really be worth checking this one out.
Looks like it may be time to part with the mini that started it all for us. We have a super clean 03 cooper in rare silk green. Too many cars, not enough space etc force the sale.

Wow, I found this thread again. Time to update! It took me two years since my first post above (and I've lurked on this fabulous site ever since), but after driving a number of prospective MINIs over the past couple years, I finally drove home a new 2010 MCS last night. What a blast!
Now that I feel "real" I hope to contribute regularly. Uh, as soon as I get back from goin' out for a drive.....
