New SoCal MINI Owner

Well, it's new to us. I purchased a 05 Mini S Convertible Black with lots of options for my wife's birthday. I think it has most everything except the cold weather package and navigation.

I was lucky to find a Mini nearby with just 11,000 miles with a few door dings and some rim "wear".

Any advice for a car cover? It rarely rains but like to keep it covered since we do not have a garage.

Welcome, It's a brand used. I she will enjoy it. Be careful if you drive it much you may want one too. We have a lot of two MINI families on NAM.

I usually by my car covers from California Car Cover:

And might I suggest a MINI Club?

In leu of a garage a car cover is the second best thing. Be sure to only put it on a clean car though as if it gets breeze and starts to move around it will onl sand your finish. California Car Cover has a few different versions and are top notch quality wise.

Car Cover for Convertible

Thanks for the car cover advice. One concern is that the convertible has the unique antenna placement. Is there any concern about it bending/breaking?

Also, anybody have experience with removing door dings. Not sure it is worth it, but there are a few ding removal specialists that advertise in my area.

Congrats on the new car, Rap! Where in SoCal are you? Please post pics of your new baby.

Cwoolman, thanks for the link to the Mini Club. I've been wanting to join one!
