Another old - new MINI Owner
Another old - new MINI Owner
Hi All,
I just got my first Mini, a 2005 black/dark silver Cooper S. It came with 30,000 tender miles and its a blast. I've been Mini curious since the beginning, but managed to keep it under control. With a new job and a long commute I knew I needed something with better mileage. I was filling my BMW 735 (5-speed) every 4 days at $60-70 per tank. To get to the point, my birthday was last weekend and on Saturday, my wife announced we were going car shopping for a Mini. We found one and it was my present. After one test drive I was hooked.
I don't know why I waited so long. Of course, now the money I save in gas will be going to goodies for the S.

rgc0233,
I understand that you're "new" to owning a MINI? But is it you that's "old" or is it the MINI that's "old" (i.e. used)?
Whichever, welcome to NAM and to MINI's! From one old fart to another! Maybe.
