Hi , all has anyone gotten an email from Mini telling you the status of your Mini.

I was told by my Ma I would receive a email . But have yet to receive one.

 

No, nothing from MINI. I know more then my MA. The last time I talk to him, all he knew my MINI was till in production! and my MINI was completed.

 

That gives me even more hope that I actually am on Carribean Highway. I was doubting it a little when my MA told me yesterday that I was still waiting to be assigned to a ship...but the more I think about it the more I think he just told me what ASK MINI was saying. He's been awfully busy with customers, and ordering his very own new Clubman! Since WW still doesn't recognize my VIN and my boy has been at the dock since the 1st, the only logical conclusion is that my baby was so anxious to get here that he refused to board the Patriot, knowing that Carribean Highway would get him home two days sooner . So, here's a toast to our maiden voyage, MINI TREKKIE and mysticturner! Have some rum on me (er, rather, on the Rolls...but I'll pass it over).

 

So I really just scared myself. I called ASK-MINI for the hell of it, even though I know I am on a ship. Instead of saying the voice commands, I type through the keypad on my phone. I guess I accidently put in the wrong production number and it said my ' MINI is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel'. I almost had a hear attack or something, then I realized I had typed the wrong PN...

 

So I was looking through my photos from when I was in New Zealand and Australia and I found a picture of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen boat. I thought it was pretty cool.

 

I don't have any word, and no luck on a cargo search. I believe mine was actually completed 4/30 instead of 4/29.

I hope I'm on Caribbean Highway, since that's the straightest shot to Charleston. Would actually be better than getting on the previous vessel.

Hey guys.. I'm actually a week 16er but my MINI missed the last boat heading to the West Coast so I will be on board FALSTAFF (or at least i BETTER BE! ) so let me know if anyone else is on this ship!

BoBini was completed on 04/25/08.

Called ASKMINI and have been told several times that my car is at the port waiting on a ship.

Sales Nerd hasn't returned my calls.

Hoping that BB is on the high seas and headed toward HOUSTON!!

Got a small pile of "stuff" to install sitting in a corner of the garage and can't wait to get at it!

 

Allright! Another MINI to add to our evil plans to go to Houston instead of Charleston SC. Right now we just have to trust our faithful little companions to get control of the ship and take it to Houston. If all goes well, they should arrive on May 19th at wharf 31 on the ship channel. That's the big auto lot on the north west side of the 610 bridge. We're expecting news soon.....

And don't fret too much over lack of info from the site or your MA. Most of the info we've gotten is outside of official MINI channels. Unfortunately since Carribean Highway is a KLines ship, we can't get web info on cars loaded. Those on the Patriot mostly only know they are on because the W&W site shows their VIN. MiniUSA still says I'm sitting on the dock. I'll call the MA today and see if he has an update but I'm not expecting much. The info would have to come from the KLines company and right now they've got a mutiny to deal with.

 

Engine room calling the bridge, Warp drive standing by. I got the replicator working so we wouldn't run out of booze.

 

Finily OL post that JD is "AWAITING TRANSPORT" I'll get home faster in the trunk of "Jason Statham" car, then waiting for this website to update.

From what I've seen, the OL only updates once a week, between Saturday night and Sunday morning, (or should I say when I'm sleeping?). Then it just remains that way forever!
My MINI said scheduled for production from Sunday 4/27 until Saturday 5/3, both on the OL and automated ASK-MINI. I had to call to get the real deal on where he was. (Only adding to compulsion)
Is it worth calling and talking to a person once your MINI shows up as waiting for transport, and you know your not on the Patriot? Has anyone been told by calling that they were on a K-Line ship?

Is this sad? In my dream the other night, I checked the OL, and my MINI was complete and at the dealership. (I was so excited, I woke myself up!) I was sad when I realized he still had to come over on a ship...

 

Let's hope he not on the ship to California ( It's just a dream )

 

I'm hoping I'm in the right production week here. My Lightning Blue Clubman Cooper S is in the distribution center. It was on the Elektra. That's all I know. Anyone else in this group get their baby yet? Does anyone know where the distribution center is located (car was unloaded in NY and is bound for Washington, D.C.)?

We're in the same situation. I don't know where my car is situated now. OL finanlly changed to "Awaiting Transport" this morning. Automated ASKMINI has been telling me "Completed and waiting to be released to carrier" since morning of May 2. My car will dock in NY so I'm hoping to get on Tasco. For now, all I can do is wait and hope .
