According to the ASKMINI droid, my MCS has completed production and is awaiting release to carrier

I guess this is the same as Awaiting transport?

 

Just checked on the WW site . My mini is on the ISOLDE scheduled to leave southhampton 4/14/08 and arrive port hueneme 5/5/08 .

 

My MINI was finished on 4/8/08 but can't find anything about it on the WW site. Hoping I'm on the ISOLDE too!!

Nice, just heard it was a port, and checked the WW site; looks like i'm on the ISOLDE as well.

 

Looking at the ISOLDE's voyage details it should leave the UK on Monday, and get to California on May 5th.

I'm hoping my baby will make it onto the Courage before it sails on 4/14. No info on the WW site yet.

 

How do you check your Mini on the WW website? Do you need your vin#?

 

There is a post in the 1st gear forum that has all the details. The post says you have to look at the page source to get the VIN but you can also get it by looking at the "Review order detail" section on the MINI Order tracking page.

I seem to be Week 15 as well (albeit toward the end of it). Mine just completed production (ordered 3/22, I think) and is awaiting transport, according to the web site. And, of course, the wait is killing me.

glad to see so many mini owners here. I'm a week 15! scheduled completion 4-11. Hope there won't be any delay! can't wait to see my baby.

OL shows it as awaiting transport but doesn't show up on the WW tracking site so maybe she'll use another line to get to her new home. I'll check tomorrow with my MA to see how she's getting here.

Looks like the ISOLDE arrived on schedule, because i've been updated to "loaded on vessel". My only concern was somehow getting stuck at port, as i've heard that's happened in the past.

 

Just checked the WW site, Courage shipping out of southampton on the 14th, arrives NYC ON THE 22ND.WOOOO HOOOO !!!

Still no info on mine at WW and it's been reporting at the port awaiting transport on ASKMINI since Saturday morning.

 

I'm in the same boat as SilverRocket, figuratively speaking...which is to say, I have no boat. It was updated to Awaiting Transport on Saturday, but the VIN hasn't shown up on WW yet. I figured it just might not be updated over the weekends, but who knows.

Showed up 2 min before I posted here, ASK MINI bot said it was released to carrier Fri night, been trying to find out at WW all weekend, But I just tried it with CAPS in VIN,lower case all weekend, so that could be it !!!

 

Sounds like we were released to carrier around the same time (mine updated to this status around 12 PM ET on Friday).

Was trying that same caps/lower case VIN thing myself all weekend but still no love.

Oh well, I guess my MINI must smell or something.

Does K-Line or any other carrier take MINIs to Charleston? Haven't seen mention of any other carriers than K-Line in the Tracking your MINI thread, but I guess I could have missed something.

 

Ya, I think yours might be on K-Line. WW isn't the only carrier. My Vin showed up pretty quickly when I plugged it in WW. Perhaps there's a way to check the other carriers?
