Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I picked up an 03 Silver/Silver MCS this weekend. I've been eyeing these cars for a while (you might have seen me poking around the Market forums), and I'm excited about finally getting one.

One question: My wife was skeptical at first, but after a test drive she was sold. Now she wants to drive it all the time instead of her car. Is there a fix?

You could threaten to trade her in for a newer model... or maybe just get a new second one.

BTW, that was meant to refer to the car.. not your wife.

My wife prefers her Vibe, which is totally fine by me. After 37 years of marriage, I would say that if your wife really likes your MINI, then she needs to trade in her car for a MINI of her own. I doubt very much that a MINI can ever truly be a shared experience. Unless the "shared" experience involves the husband driving and the wife gladly riding in the passenger seat.

Oh, and before anyone accuses me of being chauvinistic, if the roles were reversed, I would say the exact same thing only backwards. I just cannot imagine how anyone could realistically share a MINI.
