Does anyone Wave in Los Angeles anymore?

I was all set to wave at the MINI i saw this morning..
got on the 10 west toward the 405.. immediately spotted a DS MCS...
Cool I thought. I can wave at somebody...
the guy was on the phone.. didn't notice at all.......
bummer.. I thought.. but look.. what is that 2 cars ahead of him??
A DS MC.. surely they would be happy i waved...
pull up along side all set....
