VDC in Southeast?
Hey, wanna help me break in and drive our get-away-cars out of there, Italian Job style? hehe.

The VDC is in Charleston, that's where cars destined for SE and Midwest go through, though if they are backed up, they will apparently truck cars down to another BMW VDC in Brunswick, GA to be processed, then shipped back to Charleston and sent out to dealer from there. This is what happened to me. Added about 2.5 weeks to my delivery date...

My MA tells me that my MINI will be processed in Greer, and a search for 'greer' on Minis in General shows that I'm by no means the only one, in fact there's someone right now waiting on theirs to be processed in Greer then brought back to the Charleston dealership for them to pick up, just like my husband's was back in 2004 when he ordered through the Charleston dealership.
From this I would conclude that the BMW VDC in Greer SC still processes at least some MINIs for the southeast. It exists for sure, we've been inside of it for a meeting of our local MINI club.
