NEWBE to NAM
Just signed up for '08 MOTD. All recommended accomodations were already booked, but found a place in Alcoa, TN (50 mi. & 1 1/4 hrs. away from Fontana Village). Sure wish we could have gotten closer.
Bought our Mini "Bucky" from a fellow in Toronto & he delivered to me in Niagara Falls in Jan. of '04. Long haul from WI at that time of the year to get it. Seller & paperwork say it is a '76, But I seriously doubt that - it has an early '90's SPI engine. Hope somebody at MOTD can help me sort it all out.
We've driven the snot out of Bucky since we got it & it keeps coming back for more. Now that fuel is big $'s & Bucky gets 45m/g, it's my daily driver - except in the snow!! Bucky is a happy car, everybody that sees it smiles - young & old.
