Hi there: This is my first posting. My wife and I bought an 05 Mini conv cool blue last year and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. In spite of my 6' 5" 235 lbs stature.
She is only 5'6".
We are very excited to be coming to the MOTD this year. All the info I've read makes it sound fantastic. Can't wait for all the drives and the great scenery.
Question: Any ideas on tweaking the performance a little and still having the car look completely stock. Every now and then, depending on how hard I accelerate, I get this surge of unusual power for a couple of seconds, then it drops off. Any ideas? I was wondering if I had someone hook up a dyno to it and tweaked it some if I might notice quite a difference. Anyone ever tried that?
