New MINI Owner in FL
Found the forums and wanted to check in and say hello.
First time Mini owner. Was lured in by the larger size of the Clubman model. My hobby required more space then the standard Mini had. Always thought the cars were very fun to drive just to small for my needs. The Clubman fit the bill perfectly. Was tired of 16 MPG in my truck and with gas prices continuing to climb I had to do something.
I picked up a Blue and Silver Clubman S model on Sunday afternoon. I was very happy with the buying expierence at Braman Mini in West Palm Beach. They came off the sticker $1500.00 which I was amazed by and gave me well over blue book for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma.
My biggest suprise came when I called for the insurance change. I'm saving $600.00 per year from my truck.
That more then makes up for the $30.00 a month my payment increased even before the fuel savings.
Needless to say I'm a happy new Mini owner. Look foward to using the forums for the wealth of knowledge that is here.
